The following page contains firmware upgrades for the
SBC68EC.
Be sure to use the correct firmware for the hardware version of the target board!
Each section below contains detailed information to identify the hardware version
of the target board.
SBC68EC hardware V2.21 and higher, with bootloader
The following firmware hex file, and webpage image file is for the SBC68EC hardware V2.21 and higher boards, programmed with
a bootloader. A label with "SBC68EC HW: V2.21" (or higher V number) printed on it is stuck on the front of the board.
The PCB has the marking "SBC65EC REV2" or "SBC65EC REV3" on it, and is assembled with the PIC18F6680 chip.
To update the firmware and webpages, download and install the
Modtronix Network Bootloader,
connect to your SBC68EC board, and upgrade it with the hex and img file given below.
The following firmware hex file, and webpage image file is for the SBC68EC hardware V2.21 board, without a
bootloader. A PIC programmer is required to update the firmware!
The PCB has the marking "SBC65EC REV2" on it, and is assembled with the PIC18F6680 chip.
There is no label stuck on the front of the board. There are two small surface mount resistors
soldered onto the back of the board.
The following firmware hex file, and webpage image file is for the SBC68EC hardware V1.20 board, without a
bootloader. A PIC programmer is required to update the firmware!
The PCB has the marking "SBC65EC REV1" on it, and is assembled with the PIC18F6680 chip.
