This simple but handy board adds a Sub-D connector to any MicroX Main board that has a Frontend Connector and RS232 or RS485 interface assembled. It connects pins 5 and 6 of the BRD2 connector of the Main Board with pins 3 and 2 of the Sub-D connector respectively. Pin 5 of the Sub-D connector is connected to ground.

Space is provided for a 3 pin 2.54mm IDC connector that makes the Serial pins available to be fitted (CON1).

Frontend connector pin B6 (Usually routed to PIC port pin RB6) is connected to a red LED.
