ZIF Socket programming adaptor to program Modtronix PIC based boards with 18, 28 or 44 pin
PICs - for example the
SBC45EC,
SBC44B
... This adaptor plugs into the ZIF socket of any serial PIC programmer - just as the actual PIC
chip would have(Note that serial refers to the way the PIC is programmed and not the connection to
the PC, which can be serial, USB...). It has a cable leading of it that than plugs into the ICSP
connector on the target board. Both ICPC1 and ICPC2 type programming connectors are supported.
Note that this is NOT a PIC programmer, but only an adaptor for an existing programmer. It
has to be used with a programmer that has a ZIF socket, like the PGM149 or PGM150 PIC programmers
from Kitsrus.com(Kit 149, Kit 150..). They
