The new Presto range from Modtronix consist out of electronic modules with press-fit connectors. The press-fit connectors allow different products to be easily built by simply plugging the desired modules together. The Presto SBC Boards have ports designed for the press-fit modules to be plugged into.

The following products with ports for press-fit connectors are available and planned:

• Presto SBC Boards, Single board computers that have ports for press-fit Presto modules, like the iMod modules.
• Presto Prototype Boards, Boards with prototype space, and ports for Press-Fit Presto Modules. Prototype space can be used to create own circuit. Presto Ports can be used to add a power supply (pMod Modules), interfaces (iMod Modules) and SPI/I2C serial peripherals (sMod Modules) like EEPROM, Flash, SRAM, RTC...

The following modules with press-fit connectors are available and planned:

• Presto iMod Modules, Interface modules with press-fit connectors. Initial products will include Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485, 1-Wire and CAN Bus Interfaces. Future products could be with IR, Zigbee, USB, LIN and other interfaces. For details on iMod Modules, click here.
• Presto pMod Modules, Power modules with press-fit connectors. First modules will be 5V and 3.3V power supplies, implemented as DC/DC Converters, Linear Power Supplies and Battery Power Supplies. This is a Future Product!
• Presto sMod Modules, Serial Modules with SPI/I2C Serial peripherals, and press-fit connectors. Initial products will have 32K SRAM (AMI), 32MBit FLASH (Winbond or SST), SPI EEPROM and I2C RTC with super capacitor backup. This is a Future Product!
